A pilgrim man in a tall hat with a pumpkin at his side, a cheerful turkey with a big blue bow and fanned tail feathers, and a pilgrim woman in a soft bonnet with “gather” in script. Paint them in the warm oranges, blacks, and creams shown here, or make them entirely your own — then set them on the shelf, mantel, or Thanksgiving table and let them welcome the season. Each piece is precision laser-cut with clean edges and a smooth surface made for paint. The kit arrives unassembled, so the making is part of the experience: paint, layer, and stand up three little friends. Open. Create. Become.

Materials

Premium 1/8″ MDF, precision laser-cut. Unfinished — pieces arrive bare and ready to paint, stain, or seal. Smooth surface, clean laser-cut edges.

How to Use

1. Lightly sand the piece edges.
2. Paint the pieces before assembly, using brushes and make-up wedges for detail and blending (choose your own palette, or follow the colours included with your kit). A polka-dot stencil is optional for the dotted details.
3. Glue the layers together — wood glue for the main layers, super glue or hot glue for small details.
4. Let dry, then seal with a clear spray sealer to protect the finish.
5. Slot each sitter into its stand base and set them on a shelf, mantel, or table.

Experience level: beginner-friendly. Ideal for a relaxing solo project, a holiday paint party, or a family craft night.

FAQs

Is the kit painted or unpainted? Unpainted. The pieces arrive as unfinished MDF blanks, ready for you to paint, stain, or seal in any palette you like.

Which paints should I use? We recommend DecoArt Americana acrylics. The exact colours used in the finished sample are included with your kit.

Is paint, glue, or the stencil included? No — paints, brushes, sandpaper, glue, and sealer are not included, so you have full creative control. The polka-dot stencil is optional.

How hard is it to assemble? Beginner-friendly. Paint the pieces, glue the layers together, seal, and slot each sitter into its stand.

Does the set include the white cake stand? No — the white cake stand under the turkey in the photos is a display prop. Each sitter has its own wooden stand base, included in the kit.

Can I paint them in different colours? Yes — the kit is yours to customize. Any acrylic paint palette works.
